5. Name two things that WERE SO WRONG of Christopher Columbus to do.
6. Name a good thing the Columbus was good at.
7. Why were Indians given the name "Indians?"

READ The Legend of Sleepy Hollow & Complete activities as you read together.

9:45-11:15 Language Arts
1. Compare and Contrast two stories as the teacher reads aloud.
2.Community Connections Packet. Complete INDEPENDENTLY AND ON ZERO.
-When finished- Work on Multiplication Grid. Names are already on them.  Students can do more than one, but ONLY after they've completed the one with their name on it. 

11:15-11:40 LUNCH
11:45-12:00 Recess

12:00- 1:15 Math Finish Multiplication Grid Coloring sheet. Can do more than one. CLEAN UP ART BOXES BEFORE THEY LEAVE FOR MUSIC!
1:15-1:45 Music

1:45-2:30 Science Work on Soil Packet and answer Questions.  Students MUST WRITE THE QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS. Turn in article with questions answered.

2:30-2:45 Watch The Legend of Sleepy Hollow Students may sit in the floor, but absolutely NO TALKING or they will return to their seats for silent reading.
-When movie is over Silent read at their desk.
