1. Who was the King and Queen that gave Columbus the money to sail west?
2. Why do you think they gave him money?
3. What year did Columbus sail the ocean blue?
4. Where did Columbus "think" he landed? Where did he actually land?
5. Name two things that WERE SO WRONG of Christopher Columbus to do.
6. Name a good thing the Columbus was good at.
7. Why were Indians given the name "Indians?"

-When finished- Work on Multiplication Grid. Names are already on them.  Students can do more than one, but ONLY after they've completed the one with their name on it. 

11:15-11:40 LUNCH

11:45-12:00 Recess

12:00- 1:15 Math Finish Multiplication Grid Coloring sheet. Can do more than one. CLEAN UP ART BOXES BEFORE THEY LEAVE FOR MUSIC!

1:15-1:45 Music

1:45-2:30 Science Work on Soil Packet and answer Questions.  Students MUST WRITE THE QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS. Turn in article with questions answered.

2:30-2:45 Watch The Legend of Sleepy Hollow Students may sit in the floor, but absolutely NO TALKING or they will return to their seats for silent reading.
-When movie is over Silent read at their desk.
