Sub Plans for 10.19.2016

Good Morning!

Morning Work: Fix the Sentences.
1. i will bee on my best behavior today so that i will be reawarded toomorrow
2. if i be good i will gotten oatmeal
3. if i misbehave i will be written up!
4. ms mclaughlin will help me with any questions i have
5. im reading freaky storys for reading!

8:15-8:45 PE

READ The Legend of Sleepy Hollow & Complete activities as you read together.

9:45-11:15 Language Arts
1. Compare and Contrast two stories as the teacher reads aloud.
2.Community Connections Packet. Complete INDEPENDENTLY AND ON ZERO.
-When finished- Work on Multiplication Grid. Names are already on them.  Students can do more than one, but ONLY after they've completed the one with their name on it. 

11:15-11:40 LUNCH
11:45-12:00 Recess

12:00- 1:15 Math Finish Multiplication Grid Coloring sheet. Can do more than one. CLEAN UP ART BOXES BEFORE YOU LEAVE FOR MUSIC!

1:15-1:45 Music

1:45-2:30 Science Independent work. SEE QUESTIONS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST! READ Soil Packet and answer Questions.  (Ms. McLaughlin can read it to you as a class.) Students MUST WRITE THE QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS. Turn in article with questions answered. Worth 100pts! (If you are at home, a link to the article can be found by clicking these pink words!)

*Promptly at 2:30-3:00 Watch The Legend of Sleepy Hollow (30 mins long) Students may sit in the floor, but absolutely NO TALKING or they will return to their seats for silent reading.
-When movie is over Silent read at their desk.
